One entry per question worth money

Each entry below takes one buying decision and answers it in the first two sentences: what a platform charges, what the charge does not cover, whether a certificate means what the buyer thinks it means, and when the honest answer is to pay nothing at all. Figures are quoted from the seller’s own page with the day they were read, and where a page would not open to us, the entry says so rather than borrowing a number from somewhere else.
